FAQ

Take a peek at some frequently asked questions about delivery, orders and the flowers we use.

Delivery

  • We deliver every Friday during the growing season. Order by Monday at 8:00 pm for same-week flowers. Pre-order for a future week at any time.

As we grow, we hope to expand our delivery window. If you require your order on a day other than Friday, please get in touch and we may be able to accommodate you.

  • We deliver to all M6 postal codes across Toronto’s West End (M6A, M6G, M6H, M6J, M6K, M6L, M6M, M6N, M6P, M6R). That roughly spans from Bathurst to the Humber River, and from the 401 to Lakeshore.

As we grow, we hope to expand our delivery footprint. If you live outside our radius, please get in touch and we may be able to accommodate you.

  • We deliver between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm every Friday throughout the growing season.

If you require your order outside these times, please get in touch, as we may be able to accommodate you.

  • We’ll leave the flowers at the door, out of direct sunlight where possible. Add a delivery note to your order if you’d like us to call the recipient upon arrival, or if you have other special instructions.

If we’re unable to complete a delivery due to factors outside our control (incorrect address, no building access), we’ll contact you to determine next steps. Otherwise, the arrangement can be sent out again the following day, subject to a redelivery fee.

  • We only offer delivery at this time — though we hope to add a pickup option in the future. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the loop.

  • Not at the moment! Since we’re a small design studio with limited space, all orders are handled online. That said, we hope to do some sneaky pop-ups in the future. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the loop.

Orders

  • Order before 8:00 pm on Monday for a Friday delivery the same week.

    Shop Flowers

  • Of course! If you have an upcoming special occasion in mind, you can pre-order for delivery through our standard shopping flow. Just add an arrangement to your cart, select your desired week, and let us take care of the rest.

    Shop Flowers

  • Not currently, but who knows what the future might bring! For now, if you’d like a recurring order, please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.

    Contact Us

  • If you’re all about a particular colour or variety, we totally understand. But to be fully transparent, these requests aren’t something we can accommodate. Since the flowers we source are hyper-seasonal, availability depends on what’s blooming in the field.

  • We are not currently set up for large weddings. That said, we would be honoured to help out with your elopement or intimate event (under 50 people).

Please get in touch and we’ll do our best to meet your floral needs!

Flowers

  • Fill ⅓ of a clean vase with room temperature water.

Cut 1“ off the bottom of the stems with a clean, sharp blade and place in the vase.

Check that every stem is submerged and there is no foliage below the water line.

Place your vase somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight.

Re-trim the stems and change the water every other day — don’t forget to clean the vase!

Enjoy rearranging your flowers as they naturally fade, right down to a single stem.

  • We source all flowers and greenery through The Local Flower Collective.

Members of the collective practice sustainable agriculture and grow specialty blooms that are typically only available during the Ontario growing season — which is what makes them so special.

  • Slow flowers are like slow food, but instead of ‘farm-to-table’, think ‘field-to-vase.’ The Slow Flower Movement is all about fostering more meaningful connections between flower lovers and flower farmers, while celebrating seasonality and sustainability.

  • It’s always possible for flowers to trigger allergies or sensitivities.

Since all of our blooms are field-grown or foraged, they may carry pollen, plant material, or other natural allergens.

If you or your recipient have known sensitivities to flowers, plants or pollen, please use caution when placing an order.

  • While most of the blooms we use are not harmful with casual contact, we can’t guarantee that any given arrangement is completely pet- or child-safe.

Some flowers and greenery can be toxic to pets and humans. Highly toxic flowers — such as lilies, sweet peas, foxglove and others — can pose serious health risks, particularly to cats and dogs.

Out of an abundance of caution, we strongly recommend keeping all floral arrangements out of reach of curious pets and small children.
